Seating arrangements at church services: We no longer have any seats blocked off. However, if you would prefer to sit apart from others, please pick up a card containing the message "Please leave a space next to me. Thank you" and place it next to you in the pew. There is always plenty of space at the 8.00 am Holy Communion Service, and quite sufficient at other services for people to be able to keep a distance from others. Please be sensitive to the needs of everyone.
Administration of Communion: For the moment the priest will be intincting (dipping) each wafer in wine (a different chalice from that which the priest will drink from), before giving it to the communicant. If you do not wish for your wafer to be intincted, please say so as you come up to receive.
Live streaming of services is now both on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/StMichaelsSandhurst) and also on YouTube: https://youtube.com/channel/UC4vYB32hY4ana2nl8NeM-lA.
The Facebook post can be viewed immediately after the event; the Youtube video takes a few hours to be available after the service has finished.

New for 2022 - 4th Sunday ‘Church Together’ Service at 10:30am
On the fourth Sundays, instead of the 9:30am service there will be a new service called Church Together at 10:30am. The aim of this service is to encourage everyone (young, old and all in-between) to take part, to learn in a way that suits them and to learn from each other. It is hoped that this service will be very accessible to everyone, it is set up as part of being an inter-generational church. This service format was introduced in January 2022 and is still experimental; it will be continued until September 2022, after which a further evaluation will take place.
Before the service, from 10:10am, there will be refreshments served in church. The service will start with a period of worship including songs, bible reading and an introduction to the theme. Then, people will choose from one of the following zones:

- Journaling/Colouring: An area at the back of church where adults and children can reflect on the theme using art to create pictures.
- Craft/Busy: An area for everyone to make something related to the theme. This will also be at the back of church.
- Quiet/Word: An area for people to sit, spend time with God in quiet and listen to what He has to say about the theme. There will be copies of the passage in different versions of the bible as well as questions to consider. This will be in the north aisle.
- Chat: An area to discuss with others the questions and topics that the themes raise. There are no ‘right’ answers and you don’t need to be an expert.
