Sermon Series - Tough Questions For Todays Church
The topics for our sermon series in September and thefirst Sunday in October came out of the recent survey of our congregations. Issues around sexuality, same-sex marriage and gender identity will be dealt with in the ‘Living in Love and Faith’ course starting on 5 October (see September Newsletter page 13 for more details).
Many of these topics are both controversial and complex, and the sermons will help us to apply Christian principles and understanding rather than offering simple solutions or explanations.
For some people, a topic may touch a raw nerve. Please do reach out to one of the clergy or a trusted Christian to talk through how you are affected, and get support where necessary.
