All are welcome to join us this Christmas time


There is something for everyone at St Michael's Church this Christmas, from services for families and children to our Carol Service to Midnight Mass.

Services marked * are suitable for children.

4.00pm

Christingle Service *
In aid of the Children's Society
Oranges (symbolising  the world) will be available for the children. It is a fun service with candles in oranges and sweets and raisins.


Tuesday 24th December
​Christmas Eve
3.15pm
Nativity Service *
This service will be interactive, and any children who want to join in should come dressed as angels, shepherds or wise men!

Christmas Eve
7.00pm
with Handbell ringing from 6.15pm

with St Michael's Choir
This service is always very popular, and most people arrive early during the handbell ringing


Christmas Eve
11.30pm
Midnight Mass

Christmas Day
8.00am
Holy Communion
A quiet, traditional and reflective service (using the 1662 Book of Common Prayer), lasting about 40 minutes.


Christmas Day
9.30am
Family Communion (all age) *
Children are encouraged to bring one of their Christmas presents to show to the congregation
