Peter Hulbert RIP
We are sad to announce the death of Peter Hulbert, who has been for many years the Co-ordinator of volunteers who work in our churchyard, and has also been Treasurer of Sandhurst Counselling Service, a charity which was set up by St Michael's Church. Peter's contribution to the community of Sandhurst and the surrounding area has been immense.
There will be a memorial service to give thanks for his life at St Michael's Church on Wednesday 25th June at 11.30 am, to which all are welcome. Stewardship Sunday - 15th June
Once a year we take time to consider the difference that being a follower of Jesus makes to the way we think about and use our time, talents and money. Please download the leaflet below to find out more. There will be an opportunity to respond in the services on 15th June.

Supporting Us
If you would like to donate to a particular fund, e.g. the Spire Project, or would like to learn about making a regular monthly contribution, please visit our Donations page.
The Spire Project
Our beautiful church building needs repair - the wooden tiles (shingles) on the spire, the peal of six bells and the clock all need attention, the total cost of which is around £250,000. For more information, and how you can donate to this appeal, please visit our WinSpire 2024 page. Visiting the ChurchThe church is usually open for visiting and private prayer on weekdays and weekends (except during Sunday morning services), and you are welcome to light a candle as an act of prayer. This depends upon the availability of volunteers to open and lock it, but you can also phone or e-mail the office to arrange for the church to be open when you want to visit. (See contact page.)

Letting Our Faith Grow
The following article by Sarah Ashton appears on the front page of the June 2025 Newsletter
June and we are entering the peak of the British strawberry season. It is a delicious fruit with a good aroma, a sweet taste and the majority of people enjoy eating them. It takes care to grow them. The plants require nurturing for a good sized strawberry; insects are needed to pollinate them and then water and warmth are needed to mature the fruits. Each ripe fruit is full of tiny seeds held together by the flesh of the strawberry, In the wild these seeds will be dispersed and form new plants, to produce yet more strawberries.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if our faith was like a strawberry. We are nurtured by attending church and reading our Bible, by attending house groups and taking part in Christian activities. These all help our faith to grow and encourage us. Then all those little seeds that have developed in the strawberry are like the word of God in us and we take it out into the wider community and gently share our faith, through our example so that others may come to know the sweetness of Jesus.
