More about the evening

Tom Butler is a local professional artist whose work is respected and sought after nationally.

In this special presentation he will be speaking about his career, his technique and his art, with examples to view.

Tom specialises in street scenes in cities around the world, including London, New York and Venice, as well as coastlines and harbours. He is also a devoted family man, and proficient guitarist!

“The collage style is now an integral part of my artwork. It adds intrigue, resonance and (recently) a touch of humour. I’ve found it works best when there is an arrangement of man-made objects within the composition, including people!”

You can see examples of Tom’s work at his website: https://www.tombutlerartist.com/
